Filling and Stabilisation

Soil solidification, ground stabilisation or soil injection is a method used for improving the stability of soil. For this purpose, special binders are injected into the substrate. These special binders make the foundation soil permanently resistant to mechanical stress. Another objective of soil solidification is to make the soil as resistant to water and frost as possible.

Soil stabilisation measures prevent the occurrence of subsidence and resulting deformations in building structures. Barely susceptible vibrations are frequently the cause of subsidence. However, subsidence is also caused by water withdrawal and related soil erosion. This can cause the formation of voids or sinkholes in soft soil layers. In this case soil stabilisation and ground solidification measures are mandatory. Unconsolidated soil can be stabilized and solidified by means of foundation soil injection. The special products used for foundation soil injection measures are based on silicate and polyurethane resin and are characterized by their high strength and fast curing process.
